I spent a great day out in the sun on Sat with some friends. The original plan was to head to Sequim and hike out to the lighthouse, but once we got to Port Gamble, we noticed the signs warning that the hood canal bridge is closed for several weeks. Bummer! 
So we turned around and stopped at a state park and played on the beach for a while. Next, we went to Poulsbo, ate lunch and explored around that beach.
Our last stop was Gig Harbor, where we rented some Kayaks and tooled around the harbor. It turned out to be a really fun spontaneous day....you can't really go wrong when the sun is out!
